Адвокаты бывшего генерала армии боснийских сербов Ратко Младича, приговоренного к пожизненному заключению за военные преступления и геноцид боснийских мусульман, попросили освободить его по гуманитарным основаниям. По их словам, Младич «приближается к концу своей жизни», и тюремные условия не могут обеспечить ему необходимого ухода — в отличие, к примеру, от хосписа в Сербии.
