Saudi Arabia: Huge fines and entry bans for years for anyone who attempts Hajj without a permit

The Saudi Interior Ministry imposes fines of up to 100,000 riyals, imprisonment, and vehicle confiscation against violators of Hajj regulations and their facilitators, and confirms that performing the Hajj pilgrimage without a permit or with a visit visa exposes its perpetrators to severe penalties in order to preserve the security and safety of the pilgrims.
