Germany promises to defend international law if elected to the Security Council
Ahead of elections to select a number of countries for membership in the Security Council, Germany is running in the race to win a non-permanent seat, stressing in this context its commitment to international law. Berlin promised to defend international legitimacy and the interests of small countries.
