أعلنت الولايات المتحدة أنها قررت تقليص عدد قواتها في ألمانيا وسحب عدة آلاف من جنودها، وتهدد بسحب قوات من إسبانيا وإيطاليا، في ظل تصاعد الخلافات مع دول حلف الناتو، بعد رفضها تقديم الدعم لواشنطن في حربها مع إيران.
