اعتبر وزير الدفاع الإسرائيلي يسرائيل كاتس أن الأمين العام لحزب الله "يلعب بالنار"، مهددا بأنها "ستحرق لبنان"، فيما أشار رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي الى أن ما تبقى من صواريخ حزب الله . يشكل " مصدر قلق" لسكان شمال إسرائيل.
