Spain's 'Formidable Opponent': Rajoy credits France's football success to having 'no French players'

Racism directed at the French national football team is often framed as a problem of sport, yet Dr. Moosavi argues that football merely provides a highly visible stage upon which much deeper political and social conflicts play out.
