Israel and Hezbollah continue to trade blows despite the ceasefire

Israel has taken responsibility for Wednesday night's strike on the southern suburbs of Beirut, with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu saying he personally authorised the attack to kill a top Hezbollah Commander identified as Malek Balou. The continued ceasefire incursions are further pressuring talks between Tel Aviv and Beirut, which are being supported by the US.
