Indian education minister resigns after mass protests over exam paper leaks

India's Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said on Saturday he had resigned from his post following mass protests calling for his dismissal. Public trust in India's university testing system has been undermined by a series of exam irregularities, including the leaking of a medical entrance question paper that forced more than two million candidates to re-sit the test.
