France Cricket's chairman appears to have kept the sports ministry's letters – confirming the body had lost government recognition – from his own board, which is now in revolt. The International Cricket Council has since placed France Cricket on notice and frozen its funding. Yet even as it faces suspension from world cricket, its vice-president just won a seat on the ICC board.
