Recent years have seen protests erupt across Kenyan cities over an alarming rise in gender-based violence and recent spate of high-profile killings has put the country’s femicide crisis back in the spotlight. Women's rights organisations say enough is enough and many gathered in Nairobi on Wednesday to demand government action.
